 Here we analysed some music videos from our hybrid genre. We realised that the performance scenes can either go one of two ways; bright and natural lighting or dark and artificial lighting. we also realised that there can be many things in the narrative scenes that range all the way from a school setting to a outdoor greenery setting.

6. Casting Research 

 

 We realise that casting is most probably the most important aspect to achieving the perfect music video of our choice. Therefore I have made a moody board of the vision I have for our actor to look like after listening to our song which is displayed in the mood board above and justified in the powerpoint below.

 

Here we have put together some stars that we think our main singer should look like and we have identified features that they all share. For example all of them look welcoming and happy as they are always smiling which makes them look down to earth and approachable. None of them are dressed in ridiculously revealing outfits as they all look innocent and youthful.
